FE colleges have changed hugely since 'incorporation' in 1992/3. Most are in fact significant multi-million pound businesses in their own right.
Whilst education and training provision is rightly at the core of what FE colleges do, KFE's colleges are all prime examples of multi-facetted organisations. Within each of our colleges there's a wide range of services and operations that have been established and developed to support our local-communities and businesses, whilst often making college life better and more accessible for our students and staff too.
The KFE Services page provides links to services delivered by each of our colleges. Some operate as separate businesses and others are linked ventures. In all cases they provide opportunities for student engagement and often employment with many also open to local communities.

KFE4Skills Showcase Videos & Presentations - These videos are now archived
This page provides links to the videos and presentations which students created as part of KFE's end of year KFE4Skills 2021 and 2022 showcases. The showcases were probably amongst the first of their kind on this scale undertaken by an FE college partnership. Both events held in June 2021 and June 2022 were huge undertakings. KFE is grateful to all students and staff that contributed to the showcases and making them such a successful events that were transmitted as live events via the Remo Conference platform.
Due to the impact of Covid 19, the showcases replaced KFE's usual March skills competitions, which has formed part of our annual calendar since 2018. Our colleges, staff and amazing students have produced over 110 videos and a dozen presentations for the 2021 and 2022 events. The videos and presentations are presented below and special editions of the programmes are available on this page via the buttons below.
