FE colleges have changed hugely since 'incorporation' in 1992/3. Most are in fact significant multi-million pound businesses in their own right.
Whilst education and training provision is rightly at the core of what FE colleges do, KFE's colleges are all prime examples of multi-facetted organisations. Within each of our colleges there's a wide range of services and operations that have been established and developed to support our local-communities and businesses, whilst often making college life better and more accessible for our students and staff too.
The KFE Services page provides links to services delivered by each of our colleges. Some operate as separate businesses and others are linked ventures. In all cases they provide opportunities for student engagement and often employment with many also open to local communities.

KFE4Skills 2021 - Summer Skills Showcase
KFE4Skills is Kent & Medway's FE college student skills competition. Following successful 2019 & 2020 events, due to Covid 19 this KFE4Skills will be an online showcase event. There will be multiple industry skills showcases engaging 200+ students! Registration closes 9th June 2021.

About The Event
KFE4Skills 21 is KFE's third single day Skills event involving partner colleges and covering a huge range of industry skills showcases. The event takes place in a virtual online format in late June 2021 via the REMO conferencing platform. Student particpation in the event is through various selection methods at each college through to early June 2021.
Once students are selected by each college, industry competition lead staff at their college must register them via this portal by 9th June 2021. It is essential that all details are completed in full and correctly on the registration form. Failure to complete correctly may result in students, staff or guests now being able to participate.
Student helpers including models or any technical helpers and supporting staff and external guests should also be registered for the event to ensure they recieve the necessary registration and login information for the Remo platform.
